Pride Centre Talent Showcase - Aug 18th

The Pride Centre will be hosting our first Talent Showcase (at least the first in a while). The event will be held on Saturday, August 18th, at Prism Bar and Grill (10524-101 Street). Doors open at 6 and show starts at 7pm. Tickets are available in advance at the Pride Centre for $7 or at the door for $10. There will be door prizes, a silent auction, an art exhibit and more! Proceeds will go toward the continued funding of the Pride Centre's activities and support program. For more information call JP or Ben at 488-3234.

Michael Phair Roast

An evening to roast and recognize Michael Phair’s
15 years of service to the Edmonton Community!

A wonderful line-up of notable speakers will join us to roast Michael and to
celebrate his many contributions to the City of Edmonton and the LGBTQ
community.

Jewellery Raffle

The Pride Centre is holding a Jewelry raffle from now to the draw date, September 30. Items for raffle are a (6th) Raised Edge Silver Ring, (5th) Silver "Wave" Design Ring, (4th) Men's Seiko Quartz watch, (3rd) Celtic Silver Ring, (2nd) Plated Silver Ring, and 1st prize is a Ladies 10K gold broach. Tickets are $5.00 and are available at the Pride Centre.

Community Potluck

Just a reminder that this month's community potluck will be on Tuesday July, 31from 6pm to 10 pm. Please bring yourselves and your favorite dish.

Centre Décor

Do you have a painting or print that you no long need? We'll take it! We are
continuing to decorate our space and are looking for things to hang on walls.
If you have a tasteful item to donate please drop it off, and help it find new
life.

Volunteers Needed

We welcome new volunteers interested in helping with hosting, website maintenance, working at the coffee bar on occasion, or just generally helping out. If you or anyone you know is interested, please contact JP at 488-3234, or at jp@pridecentreofedmonton.org.

We could also use a hand with an electrical project. If you are an electrician and have some time you would like to donate, please contact Richard at richard@pridecentreofedmonton.org.
