Pride Centre Fabulous Open House - September 26
Pride Centre will be holding an open house on Wednesday, September 26As
many of you are aware there have been continuous improvements to our
new space over the last 12 months. With new meeting areas, the
completion of the YouthSpace as well as the new coffee bar, the centre
has the ability of accomodating a variety of groups and occasions. The Open House will run from 6-9 pm with a brief statement from the board of directors at 7. All are welcome to attend. Refreshments Available

Pride Centre Coffee House
Starting Friday, September 28, the Pride Centre will be hold a coffee
night every Friday from 8-11. These themed evenings will include an
event or games as well as time to enjoy our lovely coffee bar. On
September 28 join us for bingo as we begin inaugurate the opening hight

Gay and Lesbian Anthology of Short Fiction
G & L Anthology is seeking new (previously unpublished), short
fiction by gay and lesbian Canadians from across the country for an
upcoming anthology.Submissions
should be typed, double-spaced, one-sided. Please include a
self-addressed, stamped envelope and a short biography (50-75 words)
including your place of birth. We do not accept electronic
submissions at this time. - Publication: trade-sized, soft cover, approx. 250 pages
- Circulation: Approx. 2000

Computer Courses Offered at the Pride Centre
There are two computer courses being offered at the Pride Centre. These
courses are structured to teach people who are new to Personal
Computers the basics to operating these machines. There is no
cost for this course. The courses will be offered to seniors on Tuesdays 2-4 pm and for all ages on Thursday from 2-4. These courses begin on Tuesday September 11, 2007. For more information please contact Jeff Bovee at 488-3234.
