AGAPE

A Sexual Orientation and Schooling Focus Group in the Faculty of Education at the University of Alberta  Considers issues in relation to sexual orientation and schooling. Designed to meet the needs of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender undergraduate and graduate, faculty and staff in the Faculty of Education. Straight allies are also welcome. As well, we welcome practicing teachers and other interested members of the larger community.

Alberta Trans Peer Support Group

Provides support and education for all Transsexual, Transgendered, Intersexed, Two-Spirited and Questioning individuals at any point in transition.

Meets the 1st and 3rd Sundays from 2:00 - 4:00 at the Pride Centre (9540-111 Ave.)


The Diversity Conferences of Alberta Society [DCAS] works for the elimination of systemic discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity. Discrimination of this sort denies many Albertans their human rights, dignity, respect and a place of welcome and acceptance.

TTIQ Alliance TS/TG Support Group

Mixed gender open support group addressing the needs of TS/TG individuals.
